COMMON NAME: Satsuki Azalea

Out of all of the varieties of azalea cultivar available, the Satsuki has been a favorite for bonsai in Japan for centuries! When young, this tree has generous quantities of pink flowers that bloom from May to June depending on the climate. As it ages, the tree will develop multicolored flowers on the tree depending on the sugar movement on the branches ranging from pinks, whites, and reds. It is an absolutely beautiful tree!
