COMMON NAME: Hinoki Cypress 'Sekka'

Hinoki Cypress is native to Japan and is widely used for timber trees. It has dense green whirling foliage and an attractive red/brown bark making it a very interesting bonsai! This specific Sekka variety has extreme miniature foliage compared to the regular Hinoki with tight compact growth. This Sekka variety is not widely available outside of Japan. This tree is most commonly grown in an upright styling.
